Overview

Reimbursely is a small, free proof-of-concept project run by individuals. These terms are the ground rules for using the Reimbursely web app at tryreimbursely.app. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Reimbursely. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Acceptable Use

Use Reimbursely for its intended purpose — turning your own receipts into structured expense data. Please don't try to break, overload, or abuse the service, work around its rate limits or security measures, or use it to process content you don't have the right to upload.

Third-Party AI Processing

Reading your receipt requires sending it to a third-party AI provider for analysis. We cover who that provider is and how long they may retain data in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

Reimbursely — the app, its code, and its design — belongs to its creators. You keep all rights to your own receipts and the data you upload; using the app doesn't give us any ownership over your content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Reimbursely is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and — because the receipt fields are extracted by AI — we don't guarantee the extracted data is accurate or complete. Always check the results against your original receipt before relying on them, especially for reimbursement or tax purposes.

Limitation of Liability

You use Reimbursely at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of the app, including inaccurate data extraction, lost data, or service interruptions.

Termination

We can suspend or restrict access to Reimbursely for anyone who violates these terms or misuses the service. Since the app has no accounts, this mainly means blocking access at the network level.

Changes to the Service and These Terms

Reimbursely is an evolving proof of concept. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we may update these terms; when we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
